Linear Cooler Drive Electronics Print

With the MPCDE2450 and HPCDE2465 Thales Cryogenics is introducing a new line of programmable -DSP Based- Cooler Drive Electronics (CDE) for linear Coolers when customers require high performance ratings

Linear Cooler Drive Electronics

All CDE's are designed to drive -from a single DC supply voltage- Thales Range of linear coolers or any other brand of linear cryocoolers even if the cooler has low power factors (inductive load) or is used in extreme conditions. State-of-the-art technology within a compact efficient and robust design is used to achieve all the requirements such as dedicated control capabilities, achievable set point accuracy and high overall efficiency.

The CDE's are designed to deliver at a defined DC input voltage range a certain amount of output current. The level of the maximum required output current defines the choice of the converter type.

Design Features

  • High Overall Efficiency
  • High Temperature Stability
  • Fully Programmable
  • Robust Design
  • Diagnostics and on-board Output Filtering
  • Single Connector and supply voltage
  • Optimal Price / Performance
